Klondike is a 3 hour drive from Cody, WY and the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It is a beautiful drive over to Cody, WY and the drive up to the entrance is incredible, plus once you get into the park it is nothing up astonishing sights and views for miles. The East entrance is a great distance from the prime wildlife viewing spots, great hiking trails, and the highlighted places to visit in Yellowstone. You do not want to miss out on the opportunity to go experience Yellowstone.
West Yellowstone, Montana

Paradise is just a short scenic trip of 3 hours to Cody and the Yellowstone Park east entrance over the Bighorn Mountains on US highway 16. In the early days of Paradise Ranch highway 16 was known as the "Black and Yellow" road as the ranch sits equidistant between the Black Hills of South Dakota and Yellowstone Park. Mount Rushmore, Devil's Tower and the Scenic Bighorn Mountains can all be experienced via the corridor into Yellowstone from Rapid City to America's first National Park.
160 miles, about a 2.5 hr drive from the ranch is the first ever national park. We offer guided tours from the Hideaway to visit Yellowstone National Park for an added fee. It is also a great attraction to visit before or after your stay at the ranch and we highly encourage our guests to take a few days to see all the park has to offer. You do not want to feel rushed when going through this beautiful national park.

Located just 33 miles from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park sits the beautiful and rustic Elkhorn Ranch. On Friday, we pack a picnic lunch and tour Yellowstone National Park in the ranch vehicles. We tour the whole "Lower Loop" of the Park which includes Sylvan Pass, Fishing Bridge, Yellowstone Lake, West Thumb, Old Faithful, Madison, Norris Geyser Basin, Canyon and Yellowstone Falls, and Yellowstone River. We eat the picnic lunch at Old Faithful Lodge. We depart at 8 a.m., and return at approximately 6 p.m.. It is an exciting day filled with geysers, spectacular views, and wildlife.
Included in your dude ranch stay is a trip and tour of Yellowstone National Park. Located just 8 miles from the ranch, it is only a short drive to experience Yellowstone. This is a fantastic accommodation the ranch offers considering most people do not get the time to experience Yellowstone. Being so close to the East Entrance of the park is an added bonus because we get to see many of the park animals at ranch!
Ten Sleep, Wyoming
Only a little over 3 hours from the ranch is the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. We strongly encourage our guests to take some time, either before or after their visit to the ranch, to travel over and go through the lower loop of Yellowstone. This lower loop offers many viewing opportunities for animals, beautiful plants, and the highlighted areas of Yellowstone.
Yellowstone National Park's Gardiner entrance is just 25 minutes away. We can pack a great lunch for you to take into our country's first national park. 2.5 million acres of incredible scenery and wildlife await.
We are just 32 miles from the south entrance to Yellowstone. It's very easy to leave the ranch after breakfast and tour the "lower loop" of Yellowstone, enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in an out of the way spot and be back to the ranch in plenty of time for dinner.
Wolf Creek, Montana
West Yellowstone is 183 miles from the ranch. The Rocking Z is centered between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. It is a great add on to your week in Montana. The scenic drive following the rivers that begin in Yellowstone is worth it.
Yellowstone National park is approximately an hour and thirty munutes north of the ranch. Highway 20 North will take you into West Yellowstone, Montana and the entrance to the park.
The ranch location is 24 miles north of Yellowstone Park. However we recommend that you visit the park on your way to or from the ranch since it is 3 hours driving time.

The South Entrance provides great opportunities to see an abundance of wildlife as well as gysers and hot pots.
Triangle X Ranch is a short 35 mile drive from the south entrance of Yellowstone National Park. A day trip to Yellowstone from Triangle X is very popular with our guests. We are located close enough to Yellowstone you can hit most of the major points of interest in one day.

Lone Mountain Ranch is located in the heart of Yellowstone Country just 18 miles from the Northwest Corner and 48 miles from the town of West Yellowstone. Experience the backcountry of Yellowston with our naturalist guides. Take a day long interpretive trip into the Park where you will learn about the wildlife, unique geothermal features, history and "inside secrets" of America's first national park. During the winter, our Nordic guides lead snowcoach tours into the Park's interior where you can ski past wintering herds of elk and bison and thermal features. This excursion into Yellowstone's winter wonderland is a "must do" on any winter visitors list.

The Triangle C is located 62 miles from the southern entrance to Yellowstone National Park (approximately 1 hour & 15 minutes). The Triangle C provides an all day excursion into Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks on Wednesdays. This trip is included in your 6 day 5 night Ranch Vacation! This is a great added accommodation considering it can be expensive to get into the park, plus with a guided trip you get to see all of the highlights of the parks!

We are only 100 miles from Yellowstone Park. We suggest a couple day visit to Yellowstone prior your trip to UCO. You will be ready for the quite relaxed time at the ranch. Some of our guest do day trips to the park.
The ranch is about 1.5 hours from the south gate of Yellowstone and the entrance to Teton National Park. Some guests choose to do a day trip from the ranch but the majority of our guests choose to arrive a couple of days early to visit the parks before coming to the ranch.
The ranch is located about 45 miles south of Yellowstone National Park. Take a break during your stay with us and let the ranch send you off to the Park with one of our hearty and delicious sack lunches after breakfast here and you'll be back in time for dinner. Or, leave us after a week and plan to stay at the Old Faithful Inn for a couple days and really explore what the Park has to offer. Either way, you won't want to miss the chance to see Yellowstone's beauty when you're this close!
Big Timber, Montana
Sweet Grass Ranch is located 2 1/2 hours from the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The ranch can arrange to take guests on a long day-trip through the Park, at an extra charge. Alternatively, guests often add a few days to their week at the ranch to be able to tour Yellowstone in a more leisurely fashion and enjoy the wonderful features of America's first National Park.
The 7D Ranch is about an hour from the NE Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. A special hiking and/or fishing trip is offered into Yellowstone Park on Thursdays. Yellowstone trips focus on the northern part of the Park from the Lamar Valley to the Mammoth Hot Springs (about 2.5-3 hours of driving to the Springs). Hiking excursions range from 3 to 5 miles depending upon interests. All guests pack a picnic lunch and any gear necessary for an all-day outing. Lunch may be eaten on the trail, beside a lake, or at a picnic location.
Teton Village, Wyoming
Yellowstone National Park is located just an hour and a half north of the ranch's front gate. Travel through Grand Teton National Park as you take a leisurely drive to Yellowstone's park entrance. We'll even pack you a picnic lunch so you can have a relaxing meal amongst the numerous rivers, lakes and warm springs.
We are located only two and a half hours from the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It is a beautiful and scenic drive and is well worth the trip before or after your time at the ranch.
The CM Ranch is located 60 miles from the south entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Most of our guests rent cars, and it is possible to take a day trip to Yellowstone during your stay here. However, you will miss something going on at the ranch so if you have the time, we recommend adding a day or two to the beginning or end of your ranch stay so that you can fully enjoy the park. We are always available to help with questions about Yellowstone and are happy to help with your plans.
Lost Creek Ranch is located just an hour away from the South Entrance to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park. Take advantage of the distance between the entrance and the ranch because there are not many places that are as close to these parks as we are. We strongly encourage our guests to add on some time to their vacation to go explore the national parks. We are located 110 miles from West Yellowstone. It is about a 2 hour very scenic drive from the ranch. From the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park you will be in a great location to see the prime animal viewing spots as well as the highlighted places to see while in the park. Most guests choose to add a few days onto their stays in order to experience the entire park without being rushed.
Located two hours east of Yellowstone National Park, we encourage our guests to incorporate a trip to Yellowstone either before or after their stay with us at The Hideout.
