Flat Creek Ranch

You will never be bored while at the ranch. We surrounded on all sides by the Bridger-Teton National Forest and the Gros Ventre Wilderness Area. We offer guided trail rides into the Wilderness. If you prefer to take in the sights on foot, there are several hiking trails for all abilities that leave straight from the ranch. Any path you choose to hike — rigorous climb or easy amble — will cross elk trails and meadows brilliant with wildflowers. As well you can take a beginning fly fishing clinic on our blue-ribbon native trout stream and a 50-acre lake, suited for advanced anglers to beginners alike. All fishing equipment is provided.

From traditional to decadent, our kitchen is supplied with local, organic meat and produce whenever possible, including fresh greens from our garden. The daily menus reflect seasonal bounty at the hand of an experienced and imaginative chef. The day starts with coffee delivered to your cabin followed by a gourmet breakfast with seasonal fruit, homemade granola and yogurt, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and something special and piping hot from the kitchen. A hearty lunch with fresh baked cookies and four-course dinner will finish off the day. For those heading out for an adventure, sack lunches with lots of snacks are provided.

Our dining philosophy at Flat Creek Ranch revolves around the changing seasons, locally-grown and raised food, and your dietary preferences. We can accommodate different dietary needs – just ask us and we are happy to oblige to the best of our abilities.

Although everyone has an individual cabin, the lodge is truly the heart of the Ranch. We gather for breakfast to start the day and meet up again for drinks and appetizers to recount the days’ adventures. Because of our intimate size, we encourage guests to all dine together.
