About Triangle X Ranch

Welcome to Triangle X Ranch in beautiful Grand Teton National Park. Located 26 miles north of Jackson, Wyoming, Triangle X's location presents unsurpassed panoramas of the majestic Teton Mountain range. Operating as the only dude ranch concession in the Nation's entire National Park System, enjoy what four generations of the Turner family have been sharing with their guests since 1926.

At Triangle X Ranch you will discover beautiful Jackson Hole, horseback riding through an ever changing variety of terrain. Explore the river bottoms of the famous Snake River (excellent wildlife habitat), thick pine and spruce forests, sagebrush plateaus, aspen groves and mountain meadows full of lush wildflowers. You might also decide to take one of our all-day rides, leading you above timber line into the rugged Teton Wilderness.

Riders of all abilities take pleasure in having the choice of rides for beginners to the most advanced. Lesson rides are also offered throughout the week. Each guest is assigned his/her own horse and saddle during their stay.

Triangle X Ranch is home to over 180 horses. We are very proud of our horse herd and treat them so. Our horses are gentle and willing, and have proven themselves as sure-footed mountain horses. After their days work they are pushed out to large pastures where they are free to roam and graze fresh grass.

Along with riding, additional ranch activities include; cookouts, wildlife viewing, western dancing, photography, hiking, evening presentations from park interpreters and members of the Turner family, and a special program for both teenagers and children (5-12 yrs). Triangle X does not offer any childcare for children under the age of 5.

Extra activities at Triangle X include guided fishing trips, guided scenic float trips, wilderness pack-trips and big game hunting trips.

The Snake River, Wyoming's largest river, flows through Triangle X. It provides world class trout fishing and is an excellent river for beginners and experts alike. Whether you are a do-it-yourselfer or would like to take one of our guided float fishing trips you will have a great experience in pursuit of wild trout in spectacular mountain country.

You will also want to partake in one of our scenic float trips. These floats venture into a protected sanctuary of pristine wildlife on an unchanged wilderness river system. These trips are relaxing and very informative.

The Turner family is one of the areas oldest outfitting families offering one of the West's best kept secrets. A wilderness horse pack-trip is roughing it in style. Venture into the heart of the most remote wilderness in the lower 48 states as you explore a natural paradise few have ever seen.

Triangle X Ranch was one of the original Dude Ranches established in Jackson Hole and is now the oldest dude ranch still in operation in the Jackson Hole area. Let the Turners with their rich heritage share their love for the Jackson Hole area as you discover your outdoor dream.
