2025 Itinerary

Sunday: Roll on in and check in after 4 PM. We’ll give you a warm welcome with a quick Lodge tour, and then it’s time to kick off your stay with a hearty first dinner at 6 PM. Afterward, feel free to relax on our spacious front deck, soaking in the breathtaking views while sipping on complimentary cocktails and sodas. Get to know our friendly staff and fellow guests, and enjoy some lively local cowboy tunes around the fire. And don’t forget to look up—those stars are something else!

Monday: Start your day right with a classic ranch breakfast, then join us for a morning riding orientation. Upon completion, get ready to tack up for your first morning trail ride. The afternoon turns up the excitement with a thrilling white-water rafting trip down the Shoshone. Dinner and lunch are included every day of your package.

Tuesday: Enjoy a hearty breakfast, Saddle up for a 1 to 2-hour horseback ride. Lunch will be served around noon at the Lodge. After a relaxing break—maybe take a short hike or try your luck fishing—you’ve got the option of another 2-hour ride in the afternoon (it’s all up to you!). Later, around 5 PM, we’ll whisk you away to Cody for dinner, a show at the Cody Cattle Company, and the Cody Night Rodeo.

Wednesday: 5- Night Guests: Early breakfast at the ranch gets you ready for a full day of adventure in Yellowstone National Park! You’ll be in the hands of expert guides who’ll show you the wonders of this stunning landscape and wildlife..like you’ve probably never experienced before. We’ll be back at the ranch by 6 PM for dinner, followed by evening roping lessons, s’mores, and more.
3-Night Guests: Check-out by 10:00am

Thursday: After breakfast, it’s time for a day of riding! We’ve got trail rides lined up both morning and afternoon, taking you through creeks, mountain meadows, and along the scenic Shoshone River. You can also choose to just sit back and relax, maybe go hiking or fishing.

Friday: Breakfast will be served, and unfortunately it’s time to say your “so longs” as you head on out (guest departures).

Don’t forget our younger Buckaroo’s program where we have various kids activities throughout the week for them
to enjoy the Western experience, including but not limited to, fishing, nature’s ‘show-in-tell’, BB gun range, roping, nightly smores, & campfire stories and more.

Please remember, your package includes optional fishing, three hearty meals a day, hiking, nightly campfires, selected entertainment, and a few extra surprises along the way!

The UXU specializes in serving delicious gourmet and home cooked meals to our guests that include traditional Wyoming ranch cuisine, as well as a little Italian. Celebrity Chef Vincent Fiore creates a weekly menu that includes such mouth-watering dishes such as Parmesan Crusted Trout, aged and slow cooked Prime Rib, or Brandy Apricot Stuffed Pork Tenderloin. Burgers, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Ribs, all add to our Home cooked hearty lunches. Enjoy breakfasts on our Main Lodge deck make for a great time to meet the other guests. For the little ones we have Chef’s famous Cowboy Mac & Cheese! Most of the meals are served in our historic main lodge, others include a Chuckwagon Breakfast outside or a planned cookout!
Don’t forget our evening Cocktails and delicious appetizers served every night before dinner.
For those of you who require gluten-free and vegetarian diets, please let us know in advance as we can accommodate most requests. (also, any other dietary restrictions).

Enjoy the comforts and ambiance of our historical log cabins. Built in 1929, they come complete with comfortable beds, modern baths, mini fridge, and outside deck. Our cabins can accommodate from 1 to 6 guests. Your cabin is cleaned once daily in the am by our staff. Fresh towels and linens are provided if needed or requested.
