By Day: Trail rides, riding lessons, guided hikes, guided mountain biking, water sports, sailing, canoe races, stand-up paddleboarding, boat cruises, happy hour cruises, fly-fishing lessons, art gallery tours, tennis, and camp cookouts.
By Night: Beach campfire with live music, team roping, steak fry, live music and dancing, mouse races, team penning, kids’ overnight tipi camp, staff vs. guest volleyball game, shoot the boot golf competition, and more.
Additional Offerings: Fishing at the pond, morning yoga, heated swimming pool, workout equipment, beach volleyball, basketball court, tennis court, daily arts and crafts, ping pong table, pool table, shuffleboard, laser tag, nightly family events, and babysitting scheduling available.
Off-site Activities (additional fee): Fly-fishing, whitewater rafting, tours of Glacier National Park, golf, sporting clays, backcountry flight tours, therapeutic massage, etc.

Meals at this Montana dude ranch are a mix of Western dining and satisfying home cooking. All meals are made from scratch by Chef Rob and highlight fine cuts of local meat, fresh produce, and delicious desserts, with as many ingredients as possible sourced in Montana’s Flathead Valley. Ranch favorites range from bison tenderloin to homemade huckleberry pancakes and baked beans to Maureen’s famous undone brownies.
New for 2021, Flathead Lake Lodge added an outdoor kitchen to the property where guests can get a front-row view of the culinary stylings of Chef Rob, witnessing him whipping up your nightly meals, desserts, lunches, and more. The outdoor kitchen has a live fire, which is aesthetically beautiful and creates a natural connection to the wood, the smoke, the flame, and the ways it interacts with the food. A daily happy hour gathering for adults also offers a variety of hearty hors d’ oeuvres in our Saddle Sore Saloon, which opens to the patio overlooking the lake each evening.

The ranch has a mix of charming standalone cabins and historic lodge rooms. A stone’s throw from the banks of Flathead Lake, Flathead Lake Lodge’s cabins and lodges are “luxury rustic.” Each room is cozy and complemented with hand-hewn furniture and quilts. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, daily housekeeping, and laundry services offered twice per week.
