We have been a working cattle ranch for since 1863 and know you will enjoy our tasty Rankin Ranch beef during your stay. The guest ranch has been welcoming visitors from around the world for over 55 years. Rankin Ranch is one of the oldest and largest family owned ranches in California. Six generations of Rankins have lived and worked on our 31,000 acre cattle ranch. We truly enjoy the opportunity to share our lifestyle with our guests.
You start relaxing the minute you step out of the car…’ -George Westin Guests enjoy riding on horseback through mountain and meadow cattle country. Other ranch activities include swimming, hiking, fishing for Rainbow Trout in the ranch pond, a variety of games in the recreation room, a large outdoor lawn area with sports equipment available in the office, evening activities and more.

Everybody loves our home-cooked meals, complete with fresh vegetables, top quality meats, and homemade bread and desserts. We’re asked often about vegetarian diets, each lunch and dinner has a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, pasta, and bread.

Cancellation Policy
Your deposit will be refunded if you cancel more than 45 days prior to your arrival date. With less notice, the balance for your stay is due unless we are able to resale your space.
