Wide Variety of Activities

We offer a wide variety of activities: fishing, float trips, horseback riding, scenic rides, hiking, wildlife viewing, late-night campfires, gold panning, garnet digging, etc. Our Lodge was built in 1994 and has all the modern conveniences, including a hot tub, satellite TV, and wireless high-speed internet. We have 22 horses and 5 mules for riding and packing. We enjoy the opportunity to teach novice riders and the thrill of taking all riders out to experience the breath-taking scenery of this beautiful valley. We work around our guests and allow them to be on vacation.

Services That Cater to a True Montana Experience

We would enjoy the opportunity to have you stay with us. If you have any questions or need any help planning your next summer vacation, give us a call or send an email. Our services cater to a true Montana experience of riding.

Lots of options to choose from…whether your interest is horseback riding, scenery, wildlife, photography, hiking, fishing, or just plain relaxing. Float down the Ruby River on the river tubes, enjoy cookout rides, hiking up Black Butte is always an incredible experience with the view, visit the historic Virginia City for a couple of hours or all day and so much more!

We do offer guest the chance to participate in ranch chores for those who want the real ranch experience. From pitching hay, cleaning corrals, filling water tubs, to wrangling up the herd to go into the corrals. We also have adult and children’s lariat ropes for the folks to try their hand with roping.

The blankets of wildflowers covering the mountain meadows and timber floors, rich with a rainbow of color, are the highlight for all the photographers to capture. Enjoy one of our many trail rides such as the loop, top of the world, wildlife ride, East Fork, West Fork, Gilbert Trail, Black Butte.
