Warm, Relaxed Western Atmosphere

A clear mountain stream runs through the middle of the ranch, which sits in a small valley at the base of the mountains near Yellowstone National Park. The ranch provides a warm, relaxed western atmosphere with just the right creature comforts to help guests “get away from it all” in their special ranch home.

Family Time

Summer is family time at the ranch, with activities for all ages. Explore mountain ranges atop a horse – truly a western adventure. Join guided hikes for all ability levels and learn about the wildlife, wildflowers, geology, and history of this part of the world. Tours into Yellowstone give guests a unique perspective on the natural wonders of our first national park and the birds and wildlife living there. Mountain biking, sea kayaking, and canoeing are other ways to experience the world around Big Sky. The ranch’s Outdoor Youth Adventures Program (for children ages 4-18) leaves kids begging to come back each year.

Enjoy the Camaraderie of Other Guests

Mealtimes are special at the ranch – a time to savor wholesome, flavorful cuisine and enjoy the camaraderie of other guests, many of whom become lifelong friends. Summer outdoor BBQs are a fun time to sit under a Montana sky and enjoy some delectable western ranch fare. In the winter, guests are treated to outdoor trail buffets and memorable dinner sleigh rides during their week.

Skiing & Snow Activities

Whether it is Nordic skiing on 85km of exceptional ski trails or 30km of snowshoe trails, world-class downhill skiing or exploring Yellowstone National Park’s amazing winter wonderland on backcountry ski tours, or fly-fishing on the rivers, the ranch is the perfect base for discovering Yellowstone country in the winter months, too.

All the Creature Comforts

The ranch has all of the creature comforts as well. Cozy log cabins with featherbeds, down comforters, and western furnishings, provide a comfortable home away from home in the mountains of Montana.
