The Hideaway is located about 4 hours south of Glacier National Park. If you are looking to visit a beautiful and truly unique national park, Glacier is the one for you. Full of mountain wildlife, glaicer lakes and breath taking views, this park is extremely memorable. If you can plan a couple days extra to go see the beauty of Montana, we highly recommend it will be worth your time!
Big Fork, Montana
Flathead Lake Lodge is located only 35 miles south of the famous Glacier National Park. A day trip into the Park is a great option for guests and vehicles are available for rent at the Lodge. Glacier National Park is considered the "Crown of the Continent" and is the most intact ecosystem in the lower 48 states. The park is known for it's abundance of wildlife ranging from big horn sheep, mountain goats, bear, moose, elk, and many more. A day trip to Glacier National Park is easy for Ranch guests (45 min drive) and well worth the trip. Guests can drive the famous Going to the Sun Highway highlighted by some of the nation's most spectacular views, waterfalls, wildlife, and family adventure.
Glacier National Park has been called the "Crown Jewel of the Continent". We are just a scenic 40 minute drive the West entrance to the park. Many of our guests will take a day to ride the Red Bus Tour, or even add a couple of days after staying at the ranch to hike and explore.

The Rocking Z is 185 miles from St Mary's Lodge. This is a 4 hour scenic drive. The drive can be along the Rocky Mountain Front through Augusta and Choteau or through the center of the mountains going through the Seeley Swan enjoying the lakes and the mountains.
The Triple J is located in the scenic corridor between Glacier and Yellowstone on the majestic Rocky Mountain Front adjacent to the famous Bob Marshall Wilderness. Many of our guests enjoy a few days visiting Glacier before of after their stay with us, and we highly recommend it if you can take the time. The ranch is about 100 miles south of Glacier, a spectacular scenic drive along beautiful Highway 89.
Cranbrook, British Columbia
Glacier National Park is located on the boarder between Montana and Canada. Three Bars Guests often fly into Kalispell, Montana and spend a day or two exploring Glacier Park prior to or after their stay with us at the ranch. Three Bars is 2 and Half hours drive to the Glacier International Airport, located in Kalispell, Montana. The drive to the ranch is via a nice highway, this route is well marked and easy to travel. Another option is to travel the full lenght of the park arriving in Canada via the park. This option will make it easy to visit Aprils favorite park Waterton, located on the Canadian side of Glacier. Waterton is famous for Prince of Wales Hotel. 3 hours drive from 3 Bars
